<p>My passion for this work is personal. I lost my dad when I was 16, and when my family went looking for photos of him, we realized something: he was always the one behind the camera. There were plenty of photos of us kids, but real family photos, the ones with him in them, were rare. That stayed with me. It's a big part of why I believe so deeply that everyone deserves to be in the picture.</p>

<p>Based in the Hudson Valley, I share my life with my husband and our four beloved critters: Brady, Bean, Sprout, and Gizmo. Fair warning: they are very experienced photo subjects at this point, since they're always the first to help me break in any new gear.</p>
