At the beginning of April, I decided to use my extra free time to create activity booklets for the parents who had children home from school. I know that recent lifestyle changes have made it difficult for families with children. While I don't have children of my own, I do have plenty of nieces and nephews, and know they can only handle so much "school time". So for them, and other kids, I have created themed activity booklets and will continue to do so!
Week 1: Easter
I created the first booklet with Easter just a week away at the time. There was a word jumble, maze, and festive coloring pages. It was the perfect start to this series.
Week 2: Spring has Sprung!
I live in upstate New York, and it's starting feel like spring... sort of. Some days it still snows. Can't win them all I suppose. This booklet has a fun outdoor activity where you use items from nature to create portraits! It also has a spring-themed word jumble and a mad lib!
Week 3: Under the Sea
I put a poll out on my Facebook, asking what the theme should be for this week's activity booklet. It was overwhelmingly in favor of an Under the Sea theme book.
Kids of all ages will enjoy a word search, color-by-numbers, & matching/memory game.
I'm looking forward to continuing these booklets and I hope you and your kids find them entertaining. I know that these times can be a little extra chaotic and there is a sense of uncertainty. However, you can count on me creating these weekly booklets for the foreseeable future.
Each week I will share the newest booklet on my Facebook page. If you've signed up for a previous booklet, the newest one will automatically be emailed to you! If you're just now signing up and want previous editions to the booklets, just reach out to me and I'd be happy to get those to you. I want to create these booklets to help you, so please let me know what your little ones would like to see and what themes may interest them!
I know these times aren't easy, but together we can get through this.
